Access to Information Programme (a2i), Prime Minister’s Office, has been supporting the parity issues of women and involving the society in several women empowerment activities from the very beginning. In continuation to this, a2i has collaborated with the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs (MOWCA) and initiated the program “Women’s Innovation Camp” to provide an open platform for the innovative students to participate in bringing solution to national problems.
The purpose of this camp is to identify some significant women centric problems in the society and bring feasible solution to those through an open competition. The best ideas and solutions will be awarded on the event finale and the ideas will be facilitated for successful implementation.
After the success of the 2016 event, a2i will be organizing Women’s Innovation Camp 2017 this year which will be open for all. After identification of the priority sectors from the problem Identification Workshop, the competition has been launched. Applicants from all over Bangladesh will be able to submit their innovative ideas based on the identified problem sectors. The most feasible and implementable ideas will be taken forward in the competition. Form more please visit: http://www.challenge.gov.bd/wic
